PhatMac Help - Erase All DMS Data

Use this (inder the DMS menu) to erase (delete) all the speech and music files from the DMS Cartridge, as well as removing all playlists from your library. First the speech files will be erased, then all the music files will be erased, and finally the empty library will be saved to the DMS.

Once the DMS has been erased, playlists and tracks can be added to the library as normal.

Note: Playing the DMS in the player after erasing the library, will yield the speech "Empty Playlist" over and over again.

A less extreme (and often much quicker) way of clearing space on the DMS is to select "Purge Library" and then "Purge Disk" from the DMS Menu. This will erase all music files that are no longer referenced by the library.
