For units which require the SSA interface, it is possible to configure the attributes that are announced when the 'Scan' button is pressed. This is only available if Speech Generation is enabled in the Speech Preferences.
As an example, assume the current track attributes:
The default (pictured in the screen-shot above) would announce: Playlist, Early Costello - Artist, Elvis Costello - Album, This Year's Model - Genre, Rock. Use the Clear button to clear the announced attributes, and the Default button to reset to the default.
To create a custom announcement, use the ten buttons. The five buttons on the left will announce the attribute followed by the name, while the five buttons on the right will only announce the name. Using the example attributes above:
The attributes may be used in any order, with the only restriction being that each attribute can only be named once (you cannot have both "Artist" - Name Of Artist and Name Of Artist). Attribute buttons will only be enabled for attributes that can be added.
The Track attributes will only be available if Track Titles are being generated. See the Speech Preferences for more information.
Click Cancel to close the window without saving the settings, or Accept to close the window and save all settings. The PhatBox library will need to be saved to the DMS Cartridge for these attributes to take effect.
