- Version: 0.6.0
[ September 4th, 2006 ]
- PhatMac is now a Universal binary.
- Added feature to check for latest version on startup. This enables a button on the main window that brings up the About Box. The About Box now shows the current version, and latest version. If there's a new version availale, a button is enabled that takes the user to the changelist and download page on buzzneon.com. This can be disabled on the Generic Preference pane.

- Erase the whole DMS, which will remove all speech and music files.
- Converted files will have .mp3 appended to the filename in order to not confuse the AAC plugin.
- The utility Sox is no longer used by Phatmac or included in the bundle. Speech attributes (speed, pitch and volume) are implemented directly with Quicktime, and Quicktime is also used to convert the generated speech file to .wav.
- Extra feedback and an abort button are now present while clearing all speech files, and also while purging the DMS disk. This is present while erasing the DMS too.
